Successfully project managed the entire 2016 Kids’ Choice Awards weekend branding and collateral within budget and on schedule while communicating effectively with the client, design and production teams and client weekend vendors.
Increased digital revenue opportunities by 20% on the Brooklyn Nets website by collaborating with Global Partnerships to develop a digital rate card and sales packages, which provide guidelines for maximizing partnership sales efforts.
Honored with the NFL Employee MVP Award in February 2013 for exemplifying the NFL's values and mission through performance and innovation. Serving as the project manager, Karina executed the Player Engagement department's vision for the new NFL Player Engagement website by overseeing and exceeding expectations for the re-launch in 2013. Karina developed the rebranding and redesign of the NFL Player Engagement (NFLPE) website in 2011, a public website dedicated to providing amateur and professional athletes, press and fans with news, resources and awareness of the mission of the NFL shield. The re-launch included a brand refresh from Player Development to Player Engagement department to include new platforms NFL Prep (student-athletes), NFL Life (current players), and NFL Next (former players) in 2011.
Launched the NFL’s Total Wellness initiative on NFLPE website during Super Bowl XLVII week in 2013, and developed and launched the NFL Women’s Resource Initiative monthly e-newsletter in July 2013, which was distributed to Player Engagement readership (20K).
Developed and launched the inaugural NFL Pro Hollywood Boot Camp on-site in April 2012 at Universal Studios, CA; secured keynote speakers: Thomas Tull, Part-Owner of the Pittsburgh Steelers and CEO of Legendary Pictures (2013); Steve Tisch, Chairman and EVP of the New York Giants and Partner at Escape Artists Productions (2012). Collaborated with NFL Public Relations to publish press releases in national trades including Variety, The Hollywood Reporter, and LA Times. Secured media coverage from CNBC, NPR, NFL Network Total Access.
